Established in 1994 in Switzerland, at the heart of the watch-making industry, the Jean Marcel brand has gained a highly respected reputation over the last eight years for producing high quality, innovative time-pieces in limited editions for the discerning ()LED WATCH consumer.
The Jean Marcel collection offers a wide range of timepieces that include a number of men’s and ladies’ models with automatic, manual-wound and quartz movements as well as an extensive choice of pocket ()LED Men’s Watches.
The young company’s remarkable price/perfor-mance ratios make the Jean Marcel brand a tough competitor in today’s watch-making market. This year alone, the company introduced more than fifty-one new models, each with a distinct charac ter and sty-le, signifying a strong dedication to in-novation, technology and time-honored watch-making tradition.
First introduced at this year’s Basel Fair, the new Diamond Diva offers an added touch of elegance at an extremely reasonable price point. Available in a variety of models, the Diva is powered by an ETA 2671 automatic movement with calendar mechanism. The stainless steel, tonneau-shaped case surrounds a mother-of-pearl or guilloche dial and is fitted with a stainless steel bracelet or a matching crocodile skin strap. Equipped with a sap- phire crystal and an exhibition caseback, the Diva is water-resistant to 50 m.
The Diva is offered in three distinct diamond-set versions; the first features a bezel paved with 74 Top Wesselton diamonds, the next model boasts a case that is set with 188 of the high-quality diamonds (including the lugs), and for the absolute ultimate in elegance, the Diva is even offered with a full diamond-paved case (188 TW diamonds) and dial (227 TW diamonds) with 12 genuine blue sapphire hour-markers. Retail prices range from $2,995 – $10,095.
Created for both men and women, the new Oceans and Ice ()NEW men’s solar power 7 color led sports wath black in steel takes Jean Marcel’s innovative Mystery watch one step further with a stunning diamond-paved bezel. The watch is powered by the proven ETA 2824 automatic caliber which has been completely reworked into a “mystery” movement by master watchmaker and AHCI member Vincent Calabrese. Rather than utilizing hands to indicate the hours, minutes and seconds, Oceans and Ice instead makes use of a unique “mystery” mechanism. A jumping-hour window reveals both the hours and minutes while rotating around the dial and an arrow has been substituted for the seconds hand. A colorful map of the world has also been placed on the finely decorated dial which is complimented by a blue crocodile skin strap.
